The cast and crew of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” are set to appear at the San Diego Comic Con event on Friday, July 25. Just ahead of that appearance, AMC has released the Season 5 poster, says Screen Rant on July 22, and it is raising some questions.

The poster was teased on Sunday with only a part of Michonne being shown. It was evident that she was handcuffed even then. Now with the big reveal, it is plain to see that all the cast members in the poster are handcuffed and poised to fight. Featured in the poster from left to right are Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). They appear to be in that boxcar at Terminus, though the door is open and they are looking out, ready to fight.

They were not handcuffed going onto the train car. How did they get handcuffed? Where are the rest of the people from the boxcar like Eugene, Rosita, Tara, Sasha and Bob? Is this a glimpse of them escaping? Or are they being ordered out?

The poster will be used to promote the show at Comic Con which runs from July 24 through July 27. We are expecting more info tomorrow when the cast and showrunners of “The Walking Dead” have their panel time at the convention at 12:230 p.m. PDT. For example, they will be airing the trailer for season 5 at that time, if rumors can be believed.

Robert Kirkman, the creator of the comic books and the TV show, has promised us some answers about Terminus in the first episode of Season 5. "In our first episode, it's very much going to focus on the story of Terminus. There's a lot of big revelations that haven't really come out that I think people are gonna be pretty startled by. There's a couple other revelations that I think people might've gotten a little bit of a lead on. We'll definitely be defining those in some cool ways and confirming some theories and shooting down others, which is very exciting. But I think the coolest thing about coming back to Season 5 is that we really hit the ground running," he said.

"What I mean by that is that we very quickly deal with the situation that we left them in - this trapped, victim situation where they're kind of at the mercy of the people of Terminus. We really kind of expand the story from there very rapidly, so I think this is going to be a pretty fast-paced season with quite a bit going on," he added. "News is already that Seth Gilliam has been added, and we're bringing in new characters like we always do, and I think Season 5 is going to be our best season yet. I think when people finally see the premiere, they'll see what I'm talking about."

Based on what Kirkman had to say, it does sound like our merry little band of zombie slayers is going to get out of that train car and quickly. Are you stoked to see it?

Season 5 of “The Walking Dead” will air in October on AMC. We’ll keep you posted on the updates and spoilers as we get them. Check back tomorrow for the new trailer, too.
