As fans have probably already heard, this season will begin where season 4 ended. There will be no time jump and there will be a lot of action right off the bat. Most of Team Prison along with newcomers Abraham, Rosita and Eugene as well as Tara, are being held in a boxcar by the residents of Terminus. Hurd said that they are significant and a key component. She also revealed that they are called Termites or Terminans.

One thing that was revealed was that the group is going to venture out of the woods and go into an urban environment. One of those places is a hospital where Beth is being held captive, which was shown in "The Walking Dead" season 5 trailer. Another, according to the executive producer is heading to Washington DC. But not everyone wants to go. Some think it is too dangerous and remember previous visits to cities. Viewers saw what Atlanta had turned into, the City of the Dead.

Carol hasn't been seen much on set or in the trailer, but fans shouldn't worry. Hurd said that if fans zoom in on the video, she probably will be seen, or at least part of her. Some have a theory that she is going to disguise herself as a walker and go into Terminus.

There is a huge debate over Daryl Dixon's love life. Some want him with Carol, others think he would be good with Beth and then there are those who think he is better off as a lone wolf. Hurd said that early on, romance won't be in the cards for him.

Also, there are going to be two story arcs in "The Walking Dead" season 5. Fans can also look forward to more big deaths, but she wouldn't give any information on who could die other than that.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 premiere kicks off on Oct. 12 on AMC.
