A car chase isn't something that is to be expected on a show like "The Walking Dead." However, a May 23 report by WetPaint teases that a car chase just might happen. So who does this car belong to, what is this car chase all about and is there a possibility that it will lead to Beth's whereabouts? There are also reports that certain characters have finally reunited.
While those in charge of "The Walking Dead" are keeping things pretty secretive this time around, fans have been scouring the set locations and taking photos of what they can. The Spoiling Dead Fans has been great about keeping its followers updated on what is going on. The site revealed that Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira and Melissa McBride were seen filming on Thursday in Senoia. It also said that while Andrew and Danai left the set in the early evening, Reedus and McBride were the last to depart in the wee hours of Friday morning.
That definitely sounds like Daryl and Carol will finally be reunited. Chad Coleman wasn't mentioned until later, so don't worry, he is okay and baby Judith probably is too. Chandler Riggs, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. and Sonequa Martin-Green were also confirmed to have been at the filming location. A few observers said that Lauren Cohan was also there.
It seems that Carol and Daryl will meet up quickly, which fans will be relieved of. Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith did not appear on the season 4 finale, which disappointed viewers. Now the question is, will Tyreese and Carol end up helping Rick and the others escape Terminus? Or do they end up going to the sanctuary thinking there is safety and they end up coming across their friends?
In other "Walking Dead" news, there will apparently be a car chase when the series returns to AMC. The source stated that it was filmed late at night in Senoia. The car chase scene was filmed multiple times and involved two cars. One of those vehicles had a cross in the back window, but observers noted that it was not the same car that had Beth in it on the season finale. The car sped away, then a gunshot was heard, then another vehicle chased after it. They filmed the scene using different angles.
If it is a different car, then Beth's kidnapper isn't just one person, it sounds more like a group. It was reported that one of the houses used for filming had boards over the windows, which had crosses on them. It was suggested that it might be where Beth was taken and Father Gabriel might be the one responsible. One theory is that Father Gabriel from the comics will be introduced, although he might go by another name or he could be a mixture of several different characters from the comics. This is what they did with Gareth.
What do you think of this new development in the filming of "The Walking Dead" season 5? Does the car chase have to do with Terminus or Beth's kidnapping or something else? Are you excited that Daryl and Carol will finally reunite early on?
