On "The Walking Dead" season 4, episode 4 fans were stunned when Rick told Carol she was not going back to the prison. The previous question of if she would face consequences for killing Karen and David seemed to be answered. But will viewers ever see Melisa McBride's character again or is she gone for good? On Nov. 4, Wet Paint revealed some speculation on her character.

While Rick told Carol that his decision was based on the fact that he couldn't trust her, especially around his own children, it probably had more to do with him protecting her from Tyreese. He will eventually find out it was her that killed Karen and Rick, being the protective guy he is, wouldn't want to see Carol die, but at the same time can't keep a secret like that from Tyreese.
So this brings fans to the question of whether viewers will ever see Carol again. The chances of that are likely. On "Indifference," Carol didn't fight with Rick about being banned from the prison. When she mentioned that she had to go get her girls, Lizzie and Mika, and he told her no, she didn't debate with him about that either. It seemed too easy for her to just drive off without a plea, a fight or by her trying to reason or compromise with Rick.
There are rumors (but no confirmation) that Melissa McBride was filming the second half of the season, which begins with episode 9. Will she ask to be let back in to the prison? Will she return to take the girls out on the road with her? Some fans are wondering if she will cross paths with the Governor and partner with him to destroy Rick and the group. However, no matter how cold it seemed for her to kill Karen and David, it is doubtful that she would harness that much hate.
What do you think will happen with Melissa McBride's character on "The Walking Dead" season 4?
