When the show returns, viewers will still find them at the prison, at least for the first episode. Their group has grown to a community because of the addition of the Woodbury residents. As with all communities, there are disputes and they will even be going through some politics.
It turns out that Rick will no longer be the lone ruler. Instead, the prison will have a council that oversees the people in the prison and deals with the conflicts. There is no word on who will be on the council. Will it be people from Rick's group, people from Woodbury or possible a combination of the two?
Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes on "The Walking Dead," recently spoke about his character,
"He's trying to suppress the brutality for the sake of both of his children and trying to be a parent in an apocalypse and trying to return to the man he once was."
Executive producer Dave Alpert also spoke about Rick,
"He's trying to find a way to add value and help and try to find a place for himself inside the community where he can do that without having to be the alpha male making all the decisions. This is a very different Rick. How long that can last, however, is another question."
There is also news that there will be a new threat in "The Walking Dead" season 4. Scott Gimple said that it is,
"It's someone we haven't seen before. Someone unusual. You can't stab them in the face, you can't reason with it. It's a force that would be dangerous in this work and in the world of 'The Walking Dead,' it's terrifying."
