Fans were surprised that the Governor (David Morrissey) was not killed on season 3 and everyone is wondering what he has planned for Rick and the group. It is being reported that the character will be changed. Scott Gimple says that season 4 will reveal that he has gone through "some very heavy stuff." There is no word on whether this is a good change or bad, but the change has to do with how he will come to terms with who he is, what he is capable of and which side he will end up on.
As for Tyreese, producers are saying that fans will see many different things with Chad Coleman's character. Some of it is "jaw-dropping" and there are going to be situations that will show who he really is or what he is wrestling with. Viewers that have read the comics know that he becomes Rick's right-hand man. This seems like it would be probable with the television series. But if Tyreese becomes Rick's right-hand man, where does that leave Daryl Dixon? Will there be any resentment or jealousy?
