There are still a few weeks before the second half of season 4 of “The Walking Dead” resumes. In the meantime, International Business Times shared a round up spoilers for the second half on Dec. 27. If you don’t want to know what to expect, stop reading here.
First up, Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, has said that his character’s soon, Carl is going to play a big part in episode 9. Lincoln was quoted as saying, "[Carl] does something this season.... Man, episode 9 is his episode. It's so cool." We can’t wait to see what it is he does!
Rick Grimes’ season 1 friend Morgan Jones is set to make a comeback. In the comic book version, Rick, Carl and Abraham meet Morgan when they go in search of weapons in Rick’s hometown. No word on whether or not that’s the way they’ll meet up on the show.
In episode 4X10, three new characters will emerge in the form of Rosita Espinosa, Sgt. Abraham Ford and Dr. Eugene Porter. In the comics, Rick meets them at Herschel’s farm and later agrees to go to Washington D.C. with them. Robert Kirkman said these characters are “very interesting and dynamic and explosive.” They will reportedly take things in new directions.
There is a rumor that a group of cannibals called “The Hunters” may appear in the second half of the season.
Radio messages from a “safe” location could lure the group but where? To Sanctuary? To “The Hunters’” camp?
Andrew J. West will play Gareth, a character from the comic book series. He is currently set to appear as a guest star but could make series regular in season 5.
That’s all we have for now. “The Walking Dead” is set to resume on Feb. 9. Until then, check back often for news, updates and spoilers as they become available.
