Carol Peletier has been appearing on the AMC zombie apocalypse drama "The Walking Dead" since the first season, and now she will be getting a lot more screen time. On Wednesday, August 28 Wetpaint Entertainment revealed that Carol will be getting in on the action and getting some romance as well in season four.
Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) was bumped up to be a series regular for season four, along with Beth and Tyreese. Many fans believe that Carol and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) will be romantically linked, since they have flirted in the past. However, both Carol and Daryl would have to survive the season and the show creators have mentioned that no one is safe from dead on the show, despite fans threatening to riot.
Carol has definitely grown as a character since her mean husband Ed was killed early in season one. In the extended season four trailer shows her teaching the newcomers from Woodbury how to handle a knife, which she used to escape walkers when the group first arrived in the prison. Carol also might be getting daring which could lead to trouble. In the preview, Rick is seen yelling at Carol about the walkers closing in while she is outside the fence trying to get some water.
"The Walking Dead" season four returns Sunday, October 13 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Tune in to see new characters, a new threat and even more violent walker deaths. Executive producers on the series have already revealed that the show will be focusing on developing the characters a bit more this season, so fans can look forward to seeing more Carol in tough situations.
