“The Walking Dead” season four kicks off on Sunday night and some folks are hoping for a little more action than what was seen in the last few episodes before the show was last aired. Some like the days on the farm better than the days in the prison, while others were never thrilled with the Governor’s town and the danger he posed to Rick and the crew.
The Wrap on Oct.11 goes as far to say that “The Walking Dead” is back, but “it’s kind of boring.” Back in the days when the clan all lived on Hershel’s farm was the good old days for “The Walking Dead.” They’ve lost a lot of good characters and the farm was like the hub or the first place that seemed to spring a little hope for Rick and his followers.
One thing The Wrap does say is that the characters finally start to “let their hair down” in this new season. With plenty of new faces that have defected from Woodbury, new relationships will form and fans will start to like the new folks as much as they did the old ones.
For those of you who need a shot of “The Walking Dead” before Sunday night’s premiere, AMC is running episodes around the clock all weekend leading up to Sunday night’s premiere.
While a few might feel that “The Walking Dead” is boring, it is one of the most popular shows on television today. It didn’t get that way from being “boring.” Season 4 sounds promising with all the hints that the cast and creator has thrown out over the last few weeks, it doesn’t sound like the fans will be disappointed.
A few hints that have drifted the fans way is that Daryl takes on more of a leadership role, Maggie gets into nesting and making the prison more like a home and there’s even speculation that Maggie and Glenn may have a baby. There’s talk of new love relationships forming now that there’s 50 new folks and Hershel has a new prosthetic leg, but it’s where he got it from that should make an interesting story.
“The Walking Dead” premieres season 4 on Sunday night Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. ET. “Thirty Days Without an Accident” is the name of the episode and the Comcast menu describes the preview as Rick and the crew are" aiming at maintaining a close-to-ideal life at the prison." This sounds like they've adapted to their surroundings and since some time has gone by, fans might be pleasantly surprised at what they've done with the place!
