In the first half of season 4, the Governor had his own episodes and fans had mixed reactions to it. On Jan. 17, WetPaint revealed that the second half of "The Walking Dead" will also feature standalone episodes for some of the characters. Which characters will get their own episodes?

Warning: If you do not want to know "The Walking Dead" season 4 spoilers, then stop reading.

It turns out that more than one character may get standalone episodes. AMC programming director Joel Stillerman said that the characters are scattered in all different directions and viewers will see more of that. From his statement, that definitely sounds like all of the members of the group will not reunite right away. Previous spoilers did state that Rick and Carl would be on their own for a while, so it makes sense that they would get a standalone episode, but who else could get one? Some viewers are hoping that Carol gets her own episodes. Since Rick sent her on her way, her whereabouts or what she has been doing are a complete mystery.

The one complaint about the Governor's standalone episode was that it was boring. There was no action, no speaking, no nothing. Hopefully the standalone episodes coming up in the second half will be a lot more interesting.

"The Walking Dead" season 4 returns to AMC on Feb. 9.
