The second episode is titled "Infected" and fans are wondering who will be the next to die from the mystery illness that is affecting both animals and humans. The synopsis reads "The group faces a new enemy; Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others fight to protect their hard-won livelihood."
Robert Kirkman told Vulture,
“the new threat to the camp will quickly eliminate many of the newcomers we saw in the premiere.”
Greg Nicotero also had something to say,
“At the end, when Patrick dies, you realize that this is not an isolated incident. [Rick’s] pig is dead, we see the walker at the fence [bleeding from the eyes, like Patrick] … it’s a ticking time bomb. Now, all of a sudden, [the virus is] right in the middle of the prison.”
Comicbook.com saw an advanced screening of "The Walking Dead" season 4, episode 2 and said that there is a "B plot."
In the upcoming episode, viewers will find out who has been feeding rats to the walkers. A guess is it is the girl who was naming the zombies, the one who answered Carl (Chandler Riggs) when he asked if they knew what zombies did to people. She seems rebellious by the look in her eyes, her defiant tone of voice and how she put her hand on her hip when she answered Carl. She looks like trouble.
In a sneak peek video that was released during the season break, fans saw Tyreese (Chad Coleman) walk out of the prison and look down at the ground in horror and shock. Wet Paint believes that he could see his girlfriend lying there, dead.
What do you think Tyreese was looking at in shock? What do you think the "B" plot is in "The Walking Dead" season 4, episode 2?
