Another trailer teasing the return of “The Walking Dead” season 3 has hit the web. On Friday, Jan. 25, AMC released a spoiler packed trailer that previews what’s to come in the second half season of “The Walking Dead.”
The 30 second trailer kicks off with what looks like a minor explosion in the zombie pit arena. It looks like this might be when Daryl and Merle make their escape from Woodbury’s clutches. A quick shot of Rick followed by Daryl down a hallway is shown; they both have their weapons in hand. A close-up of Rick is then seen of him saying, “We started something last night.”
Rick and Daryl are cautiously leaving what seems to be Woodbury, as a lamppost can be seen on the far right. Rick has someone holding on to him for support as an arm is clearly shown around Rick’s shoulder; this could be Glenn as he is seen with them in the next screen.
Two quick action shots are shown followed by Rick, Daryl, and a struggling Glenn hiding behind the corner of a building. A determined Governor is seen with his injured eye (not the black eye-patch yet) saying, “Now let’s attack.”
In another clip after a quick zombie pit shot, the Governor tells Andrea, “I won’t get caught sleeping again.” Fans assume this means that next time the Governor plans to be ready for anything that may come his way and won’t be caught off guard by another group.
In a completely different setting, Michonne, Carl, and Rick are seen walking into a new town. Thanks to previous spoilers revealed on this site, fans can confirm that this is where Rick will find Morgan.
Daryl is then heard and seen telling Rick, “The Governor is on the way to the prison right now.”
The clip jumps back to the town Michonne, Carl, and Rick were investigating. A dark skin man is shown at the roof pointing his gun at Rick and Carl as Rick raises his hands to show he means no harm.
Rick is heard saying, “We’re going to fight to the death.”
Tyreese and his group is seen running through the forest cautiously as if to be running away from someone.
As he raises his gun, Rick quickly aims and takes a shot at the man on the roof.
Back to Tyreese – he is seen using his hammer in defense against what seems to be a walker.
Michonne says, “He’s coming. “ And then Rick’s voice is heard saying, “We’re going to war.”
Action shot are rapidly shown of Glenn, Michonne, and Rick.
Then, what fans have been dying to see. It appears that Rick and the Governor come face to face. Rick tells him, “So here we are.” To which the Governor replies, “We have a lot to talk about.”
