A former NFL star will be getting the zombie treatment on this AMC series. Spoilers Guide reported that Hines Ward will appear as a zombie during a season three episode. This is not his first time on television. He won season 12 of "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC with his partner Kym Johnson. He also had a brief cameo on the big screen in "The Dark Knight Rises." Wards spent 14 seasons on the football field as a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As for the series, the man behind the Governor has also spoken out about the second half of season three. David Morrisey said the following about the meeting between Rick and his character coming in the second half of the season, according to Hypable:
"What I’ve liked about the season so far is that it’s full of surprises. Obviously the stars might be aligned for Rick and The Governor to have some sort of meeting, but maybe the show will shoot that in a very surprising way. I think it’s not going to give you what you want in the way that you want it, and I think that’s what I’ve enjoyed in the second half of the season."
This series is set to return with new episodes on Sunday night. Fans are buzzing about the return of this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
