To feed the fans' anticipation of “The Walking Dead” season three’s return, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, AMC and Television Promos released a promotional trailer that reveals new footage from season three. At first glance, the video may seem like the one released after the midseason finale "Made to Suffer,” but take a closer look and you’ll find new blink-and-miss-it scenes.
The clip is only 35 seconds long, but fans are always more than happy to feast their eyes on anything “The Walking Dead” related, so this is a real holiday treat for all walker enthusiasts. Fans have been pausing at every second of the video, looking for hints and spoilers for the second half of season 3. Here is what has been caught so far:
Carol can be seen using Axel as a human shield. She is lying on the ground next to Axel and hiding under his body to dodge what appear to be bullets directed her way. This can be seen at the 20 second mark.
Michonne, Carl, and Rick are standing in front of Woodbury. The town appears to be vacant. This can be seen at the 21 second mark.
Daryl Dixon is seen pulling out a large knife and getting ready to strike what we can assume to be a walker. This can be seen at the 25 second mark.
Judith is being held by a woman inside a car. The woman looks like Maggie but it’s hard to tell. She is holding baby Judith close as she cries and there are walkers outside trying to break in. This can be seen at the 25 second mark.
Rick and Michonne are outside a doorway that seems to be blocked by some sort of spikes. This can be seen at the 26 second mark.
Carl is sporting some type of new protective gear at the 27 second mark.
