“Walking Dead” fans rejoice! The air date for the continuation of season 3 is almost here, but in the meantime, fans still love to feast their eyes on the latest spoilers. On Monday, January 14, new footage for the remaining half season of the zombie apocalypse series has been released via AMC.
While the footage is blurry, as a fan recorded it from their television set, and the audio quality isn’t the best, fans can still get an idea of what is going on. The video shows Tyreese having a serious conversation with Rick, a lot of guns, and we get a look at the Governor’s eerie eye! (pictured above)
The video begins with Rick saying “I’m not giving up this prison.” A short clip of the Governor’s eyes then appears, the injured one is without the eye patch.
Michonne is seen shooting her gun up in the air and running forward, could she be trying to scare a threat away or attract the attention of walkers to her advantage? Right after the footage of Michonne, it cuts to Beth and Carl. Beth is running behind young Carl while he shoots his gun. The Governor then shoots his gun in another scene, now sporting the black patch over his eye.
A scene of someone shooting at Rick and him jumping to dodge it is then shown. Glenn says something to some members of his group, but it is a beat unclear as to what that is due to the quality of the video. One of his sentences sounds like, “we should hit now, they won’t be expecting it.”
Daryl is shown adjusting his arrow to take a shot at something in the woods. Tyreese and his group are also seen in the woods but in a different shot.
Tyreese is talking to Rick but what he says is incomprehensible. After a few more quick shots, a voice is heard saying “we’re gonna win,” with an image of Rick behind it. Yet, fans don’t know if the statement came from him or the Governor.
