"The Walking Dead" will return to Channel 43 in Tempe in February, and now fans are being given more inside scoop on what is coming up next on the series. Things are going to get ugly and battle filled in the second half of season three. A war between survivors has already been teased in previous spoilers, and now there is more on what is coming next. The Governor will be on his own warpath. TV Line revealed the following about what the character will do next:
"The 'death' of his daughter will unleash an even bigger, badder Governor. 'We haven’t seen him activated to the extent that he’s going to be activated in the back half of the season,' shares exec producer Robert Kirkman. 'He's going to be much more engaged and a little bit more aware of the threat that the prison represents. He's going to be on the warpath.' Luckily, he's facing a weakening enemy in Rick. 'He’s a person who’s bearing the weight of everyone’s survival on his shoulders, and I think that’s become a little bit unbearable,' says Kirkman. 'He's certainly spiraling out of control. And now he's starting to see [dead people]. It's definitely a real problem.'"
The Governor will have his eyes set on Daryl in the mid-season premiere, and there is a lot more death coming in the second half of the season as well. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
Knowing what's going to happen before it does because I'm just that good #thewalkingdead
