Although the return of “The Walking Dead” is only a day away, AMC continues to tease fans with new spoilers. On Saturday, Feb. 9, Italy’s AMC released the first five minutes of the highly anticipated episode 9, “The Suicide King,” online.
The downfall to this of course is that the clip is in Italian. Lucky for fans though, it’s mostly all action and actions speak for themselves.
Fans have seen the first two minutes already thanks to previous spoilers. The next three minutes though are brand new, and they go as far as shown the entire zombie pit showdown and how the Dixon’s escaped.
After beating his brother for a bit, Daryl strikes Merle back. As Daryl has his hands wrapped around Merle’s neck, they exchange a few words. I can’t confirm the following translations, but according to Spoil the Dead, Daryl asks Merle, “Do you really think this bastard is going to let you go?” To which Merle replies, “Follow me little brother, we’re leaving! And we leave now!” The brothers then help each other up and proceed to fight off a handful of walkers back-to-back.
Shortly after, shots are fired at the crowd by Maggie and Rick follows with a smoke bomb. Woodbury scatters as a few of them are shot. Merle tells Daryl, “Come on little brother, stay near me!” And Andrea yells for Daryl.
Daryl retrieves his crossbow and heads for the exit alongside Merle. Daryl finds Rick and Maggie and the four are able to escape.
