'The Walking Dead' season 3 return: Robert Kirkman promises epic face off (Video)

"The Walking Dead" season 3 is coming back tonight on AMC and fans could not be more ready for this show. The Governor and Rick Grimes are going to have a face off that fans don't want to miss. Creator Robert Kirkman is promising it will be a good one. On Feb. 9, Access Hollywood spoke to him to find out spoilers on the show.

Kirkman is promising that the face off between the two will not disappoint fans at all. He says it will be a big moment for this season of the show. It sounds like it could change everything. This will be a big part of season 3 of "The Walking Dead."

He also says that the new character Tyrese is a great guy. Fans haven't seen a lot of him yet, but they are going to like him once they get to know him more. He somehow still has his humanity even though the world is a crazy place full of zombies now.

"The Walking Dead" airs on Sundays on AMC. The premiere for the second half of season 3 airs on Feb. 10.
