"The Walking Dead" season 3 will finally continue with episode 9, "The Suicide King," and on Thursday, Feb. 7, AMC released more promotional photos from the show's big midseason return.
In this next "Walking Dead" episode, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is going to try to rescue a member of his group while Woodbury remains in disarray after the attack from the midseason finale. Meanwhile the new group in the prison raises concerns. Can Tyreese's (Chad Coleman) group be trusted? With the Governor (David Morrissey) gunning for them and all the losses they have suffered, they may not have a choice. They're going to need all the help they can get.
The photos that have been released from "The Suicide King," which you can check out in the slideshow at the top of this article, offer a look at both the dealings in Woodbury and at the prison. There are, of course, walkers trying to get into the prison, but before Rick can get back there, we can see that he and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) do meet up with Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Merle (Michael Rooker), who is going to get another walker kill in with that handy weapon of his. So while Andrea (Laurie Holden) may not be able to help Daryl in the battle arena, the Dixon brothers are going to survive it. Andrea is going to be dealing with the aftermath of the attack on Woodbury, and it looks like she may be the only one who can take charge of a situation that could quickly spiral out of control. Finally, we also get a look at co-executive producer/SFX make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero as walker in a couple of the photos.
"The Walking Dead" season 3 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC. What are you hoping to see in the second half of the season?
