Big news regarding The Walking Dead has been confirmed. Michonne will be appearing on the show! Who is Michonne and what makes her so special? Read on to find out, but spoiler warning! Only continue reading if you don’t mind some episode 2.13 spoilers.
An actor, who was cast to play a zombie on the show, leaked the news. Dupree R. Stansell posted the news to his tumblr page, but later deleted the post. Dupree was hired to play a “Michonne Jaw-less Pet Walker.” He claims his scene will appear in the season 2 finale, episode 13.
Michonne is a character in the comic books series the show is based on and she’s a huge fan favorite. According to ComicBookMovie.com, she makes her introduction by towing around two zombies on a chain. She carries a sword and she has removed the zombies’ arms and lower jaws, to keep from becoming a walker herself. The zombies are (or were) her boyfriend and his best friend.
According to Dupree, Michonne will make her debut in the season finale, but her character won’t truly be part of the story until season 3. No news on who has been cast to play the epic role, though.
