The latest episode of The Walking Dead began with Rick, Carl, and Michonne driving down a highway and ignoring a lone survivor yelling and begging for help. Later, after freeing their vehicle from the mud, he catches sight of them from down the road. They ignore him again without hesitation. Rick, like the rest of that world, has now become totally cold.
When they reach their destination, Rick's old police station, they're disappointed to find all of the guns missing. They set out into town to search for supplies, and quickly come across a man pointing a rifle at them from a rooftop, ordering them to drop what they have and leave. After a short firefight, the man is taken down by a shot from Carl. He is unhurt but unconscious because of his body armor, and Rick discovers that it is Morgan, the man who helped him when he first came out of the coma.
They dragged him up through a very booby-trapped courthouse where Rick see the words "Duane Turned" written on the wall. Duane was Morgan's son who was with him at the beginning. Michonne and Carl go in search of a crib, which wound up being a lie from Carl, who really wanted to retrieve a picture of his parents. Eventually Morgan wakes, and attacks Rick while yelling about people wearing other people's faces; clearly insane. He also stabs Rick in a struggle.
The two speak after he calms. Morgan tells Rick the horrifying story of how his dead wife, now a walker, attacked Duane. Morgan attempted to put her down years earlier but couldn't. When she attacked Duane, he was unable to pull the trigger, but Morgan was. He was forced to kill both his son and walker-wife.
Rick took many of he guns Morgan stockpiled and urged him to come back to the prison, but he refused. All in all, this was one of the more boring episodes, but we finally know what happened to Morgan.
