The wait is over! “The Walking Dead” returns from its mid-season hiatus starting tonight. Fans can’t wait to see what happens after Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) and the other survivors killed all the zombies is the barn, including little Sophia (Madison Lintz).
One of the most beloved characters on the show is Carl Grimes played by Chandler Riggs. Carl is the son of Rick and Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies). As many fans know, Carl was a major focus of the beginning of season two when he was shot at the end of the first episode. He’s made a full recovery and is now the only child among the survivors, now that Sophia is out of the picture.
I had the opportunity to interview Chandler Riggs at Spooky Empire’s May-Hem last year. Some of the topics we covered included how many auditions Chandler had to go on before he was finally awarded the part, what it was like to work on the big zombie attack scene at the camp in season one and he did reveal his character getting shot.
