Tensions continued to mount in the latest episode of The Walking Dead this week.
In an unseen turn of events, Daryl has decided to leave the group. Carol, who has come far in the past three seasons, is heartbroken over him leaving after the two have come progressively closer. The two have leaned on one another as they have each dealt with their individual losses; Carol lost her husband in season one and then her daughter in season two while Daryl lost his brother in season one. Now that Daryl has walked away from the group, Carol will be losing her family all over again.
Many fans seem to be under the impression that Rick is going crazy. After the death of his wife who had just given birth to a child which may or may not be his and having to kill his best friend, it does seem as if Rick is slowly losing it. Some fans are even under the impression that it is effecting his ability to take care of his own newborn child.
Fans also seem to be more and more impressed with the character progression of Glenn. In the beginning, he was simply the man who easily slipped into places unseen by the walkers. Now, he has progressed into a much stronger character, fighting walkers on his own. Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, has voiced that she believes Glenn will be even more bent on revenge than Maggie concerning the events at Woodbury. Cohan also mentioned that although Maggie is usually quick to bounce back in bad situations, this may be a situation where she doesn't bounce back as quickly.
Season four was also mentioned during commercials which has fans anxious for more and happy to know that the story won't be ending any time soon.
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 P.M.
