When the dust settled, so to speak, on episode 8 of “The Walking Dead,” a lot had changed in the lives of Rick, The Governor and those surrounding them. “Too Far Gone” was action-packed and brutal, leaving one fan favorite, Herschel Greene, and one villain, The Governor, dead. What remains unknown at this point, as reported by Wetpaint on Dec. 1, is the whereabouts and life status of baby Judith.
Towards the end of the episode, Rick and Carl searched for Judith in the aftermath. All they found was a bloodied car seat but signs of Judith.
As The Governor prepared to wage war on the prison and its inhabitants, Beth Greene was taxed with the responsibility of getting everyone on the bus. She left the bus to search for baby Judith who had been left in the care of the younger children in the camp because they wanted to help in some way.
Tyrese came across the children during the chaos and told them to run away. It is possible he is with the kids and that they have Judith. It is possible that Beth found Judith and rather than taking the car seat – which as any parent knows is cumbersome to carry – scooped the baby up and fled.
Another gruesome possibility exists. When the tanks tore holes in the fences around the prison, walkers were able to enter as well as The Governor’s militia. She could have been killed – and dare we say it, turned by the walkers! In the comics, baby Judith did indeed meet a grisly end. Let’s hope that is not the case here.
Is it possible baby Judith is alive? If so, who do you think has her? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
