Fans still have several months to wait before "The Walking Dead" season 5 premieres on AMC, but until then showrunner Scott Gimple has revealed a few spoilers. On April 20, Latin Post revealed what can be expected when the show returns. One of the things discussed was how Rick and the others are going to deal with the folks at Terminus.
On the season finale, Rick, Michonne, Carl and Daryl were forced into a boxcar at Terminus. Once they were inside, they were reunited with Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Bob and also met Abraham's group. Tara was also in the boxcar, but it is unclear whether Rick recognized her or not. So how will Team Prison get out of the mess they are in?
E! Online wrote that the characters are going to recruit as many people as they can in order to get revenge on the "man-eating freaks" at Terminus. What is interesting about this statement is that it says they are looking for revenge, not looking to escape. This seems to imply that Rick and the others will get out of the boxcar and perhaps Terminus, but they are not going to just forget about what happened. It almost sounds as if they will gather as many people as possible and wage war on Gareth and his group.
Another possibility is that Team Prison will free themselves and then try to free all of the other people that are trapped in other boxcars and containers. As they ran though Terminus, the screams of hostages were impossible to ignore. Could those other prisoners be the people that Rick will try to recruit?
One of those recruits is going to be a new character named Burton. He is described as being a 17-year-old boy who has lost a leg. However, his disability doesn't slow him down. He also has an optimistic personality, which is said to be infectious. [Note: This article originally stated that the character of Burton was going to be played by UGA football player Chase Vasser. However, a loyal "Walking Dead" fan wrote in an e-mail on April 22 that the character Vasser will be playing has not been revealed yet.]
Fans will have to wait until October 2014 to find out what will happen on "The Walking Dead" season 5, but as the premiere date nears, there will likely be more spoilers to report. What do you think is going to happen between Team Prison and Terminus? How will Rick and the others get revenge?
