There will be a fifth season of "The Walking Dead" according to an Oct. 29 report by Newsday. The zombie show is incredibly popular and successful, so viewers are not surprised. While some fans are wondering where "The Walking Dead" season 5 could go from here, those that have read the comics know that there is plenty that could happen after the prison.
Warning: If you have not read the comics or do not want to know fan speculation about "The Walking Dead" season 5, then stop reading.
Even though season 4 just began, there are a few different things that could happen next season. First, there are the Hunters. They are a group of cannibals that Rick and the group encounter. Rick kills one of them when a member of the group tries to rape Carl. It turns out that they used to hunt animals, but when they started to become scarce, they decided that hunting humans was much easier. They even ate their own children.
Another thing that happens in the comics is that the group goes on a road trip to Washington D.C. Having not read the comics and just going by what others have said, it is unclear what they expect to find when they get there.
In the comics, Daryl Dixon does not exist and Tyreese is Rick's right hand man. There is also no baby Judith; she and Lori died before childbirth due to a battle with the Governor.
