'The Walking Dead': Fans talk about who they want to die (Video)

With the new episodes of “The Walking Dead” starting to air on AMC, fans are talking. In interviews conducted on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21, fans of “The Walking Dead” are sharing who they want to die this season.

“I want Carl to die,” Kelly Monroe, from Norman, said. “I can't stand him. I heard him called 'Wyatt Twerp' on 'The Talking Dead' last week and it so fits him. I know he is just a kid, but he is way too big for his britches.”

Carl does seem to have an attitude problem. He appears that he wants to run the group. In all fairness, Carl has had it rough. Zombies took over his world. His father dies and then comes back. His mother, Lori, has an affair with his dad's best friend. Now he has a sister and no one knows who her father is. Of course, Carl had ot shoot his own mother to keep her from turning into a walker.

“I want The Governor to die,” Ray Evans, from Oklahoma City, said. “He is too mean and warped to live. He has all those heads. That is just sick. Rick, Herschell, Glenn and the rest have too much to deal without and they don't need him.”

The Governor is one of the most hated characters on “The Walking Dead.” Despite the hatred felt for him, most fans of “The Walking Dead” do not want him dead. Many stated how it is time that the group had something else to fight other than walkers.

“Rick has lived past his usefulness,” Cody Doyle, from Bethany, said. “He has gotten very boring. Even with his recent breakdown, talking on the phone and seeing dead people, he just isn't interesting anymore. Rick could die and I wouldn't miss him.”

Rick is the leader of the group, but is struggling with his own sanity. It is unknown if he will be able to continue as the leader. Unless he is able to pull it together, there is little reason to keep him around, other than for comic relief.

No one interviewed wanted to see Herschel or Daryl die. They seem to be the most loved and respected of all “The Walking Dead” characters.

Fans of “The Walking Dead” will have to stay tuned every Sunday night to AMC to see who lives and dies. Despite several spoilers for upcoming episodes of “The Walking Dead” being released, no one knows for sure who will die or who will make it to season four.
