Terminus was mentioned in the latest episode of AMC's “The Walking Dead” which aired on February 16. According to the sign, it is a place for survival. The sign stated that those who arrive survive.

Although a place named Terminus may not sound like a place to go during a zombie apocalypse, it is an actual place. In fact, several locations named Terminus can be found in the vicinity of Atlanta.

The original Terminus, Georgia was founded in 1837. It later was renamed Atlanta. “Terminus” is generally used to explain the last (or first stop) of a train or bus line. In 1837, a stake marked “Terminus” was driven in the ground to make the Zero Mile Post of a train line going from Georgia to the Midwest.

What is in Terminus? Will Terminus be the end of the line for the survivors? Will any of the group that survived the Governor's attack on the prison end up at Terminus? If so, what will become of them? The next episode of “The Walking Dead” will air on February 24. Fans of the hit AMC show will have to stay tuned to see what happens next.
