The Walking Dead Escape brings walkers and survivors to Reliant Stadium

Walking Dead fans can get a true dose of the apocalypse this Saturday, April 26 at the immersive
zombie obstacle course experience, The Walking Dead Escape slated to be held at Reliant Stadium at 6 p.m.

Look out for the Walkers!

The Walking Dead Escape, presented by Skybound, Robert Kirkman’s imprint at Image Comics, is promoted by Monster X Tour. This first leg of the tour will visit 8 cities, and additional tour dates will be announced in the near future.

Admission for The Walking Dead Escape ranges from $20 to $150 where fans can participate at any level. Spectators are $20 and are allowed to watch the obstacle course in action.

The course, which has already thrilled tens of thousands of participants since its debut in 2012, allows fans to participate as Walkers or Survivors as they climb, crawl, and slide their way through various zombie- infected evacuation zones. Those lucky enough to make it to the decontamination zone will have their level of infection assessed and then participate in the event’s Fan Experience. Walkers can be zombies for two and a half hours on the course, while survivors can be in the course for as long as they survive.

The VIP package for $150 allows the participants to be a Survivor and then a Walker. To be a Survivor is $75 and gets the chance to fight off zombies and are allowed on the course as long as they survive. Those participating as Walkers for $95 will be transformed into the undead by professional makeup artists, and they'll receive “zombie training” prior to their release on the course.

Keeping in the spirit of entertainment and accessibility to all, The Walking Dead Escape is not a race, and its participants will not be timed or required to run. Tickets can be purchased via or
