"The Walking Dead" is getting ready for the second half of season four on AMC, and now a member of the cast is offering fans a new teaser. On Friday, Dec. 27, Seriable shared new comments made by David Morrissey about his character on the series. He appeared as The Governor, and he was the main villain on the series throughout season three and into season four.
During the season four mid-season finale, fans saw Michonne and Lily kill the character, but his return is still possible. Morrissey teased the following in a recent Press Association interview shared by Seriable:
Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can’t confirm and I can’t deny anything. Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see.
Will fans see the return of The Governor in some fashion? Could he have survived what happened to him? The Governor was a fan favorite on the series, but anyone can die at anytime. Fans will have to keep watching the series to find out if they have seen the last of this villain. "The Walking Dead" will return to AMC on Feb. 9.
