Things were looking up for Daryl and Beth. They had found shelter and food. However, it was not be. In the latest episode of “The Walking Dead,” which aired on March 9, Daryl and Beth learn that playing house can be dangerous.

Daryl and Beth had taken up residence in a funeral parlor. They find it to be well taken care of and very clean. The two of them decide to stay and wait for whoever currently lives there to return, if they come back.

All is going well until a dog arrives. Daryl tries to let the dog in, but the dog is frightened and runs away. Beth wanted to let the dog in and Daryl agrees to give the dog one more chance.

Daryl and Beth looked so happy as they “played house.” They shared a meal of peanut butter and jelly. Beth played the piano and sang as Daryl tried to sleep in a coffin.

Hearing noises at the door and thinking the dog has returned, he opens the door. That is when Daryl and Beth are overrun by walkers. Daryl tells Beth to run and he will meet her at the road. Beth leaves Daryl to fight off the walkers.

Daryl, somehow, survives the dozens of walkers. He runs to the road to get Beth. The only thing he sees is Beth's backpack and a black car speeding away. He chases the car, but he can not keep up. Beth is gone.

Playing house has proven to be dangerous for the two survivors. It could even turn deadly. No one knows where Beth is or who took her. Daryl has met up with a group of unsavory-looking men. It appears that he will join them.

Fans of “The Walking Dead” will have to tune in next week to see what happens. The new episode will air on March 16 at 8 p.m. CDT on AMC.
