'The Walking Dead' could get extra content prior to season two being released

It's no secret that last years "The Walking Dead" is set to get a second "season" sometime this year. The real problem is the wait fans have to endure until the game comes out. Sure they could watch the TV show, which is outstanding, but what's to keep their thumbs busy until then?

Telltale Games, the guys and gals behind "The Walking Dead", may have something up their sleeve to hold fans over until the second season of the game kicks off. One of the writers of the game, Gary Whitta, appeared on IGN's Up at Noon and mentioned there may be something teased before the start of season two.

"Knowing that [Season 2] is a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead...there may very well be more 'Walking Dead' from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two," said Whitta.

There was no clarification on if what they have planned will be a game or some kinda interactive episode. Regardless, anything that adds to the lexicon of the game will be welcomed by everyone.

"The Walking Dead: Season Two" is expected to launch later this year for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
