According to TV Line on March 1, Paley Fest 2013 presented a panel which included a full in-depth interview with the cast of "The Walking Dead". Chris Hardwick hosted the question/answer session and it was an entertaining night to behold.
The guests included Emily Kinney, Scott Wilson, Laurie Holden, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Greg Nicotero, Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman, Danai Gurira, Andrew Lincoln, and David Alpert.
One could say this was a more of an lengthy "Talking Dead" episode with all the big stars included this time around.
During the interview session with the panel of the celebrities, Andrew Lincoln made note of Rick Grimes' ability to lead by stating, "To push one of the central characters off the cliff’s edge is really bold,” Lincoln said of Rick’s deteriorating sanity. ” Even if it means conjuring ghosts? “That’s quite a common thing,” Lincoln noted. “His brain’s short circuiting [from] guilt".
It appears that his manifestation of seeing Lori Grimes just keep reoccurring and scaring the daylights out of his members. Even his own son doubts his ability to lead and desiring Daryl and Hershel to take over. But with The Governor's attack on the prison, he might have that opportunity to redeem himself.
Questions on whether there is some good in The Governor, Andrea's switching sides and deciding to sleep with her newly discovered enemy, the damaged Daryle and Carol tap dancing around their awkward romance, and the ability to trust the cocky Merle.
Other questions about the show was posed to the panel for a couple of hours, and was chock full of entertainment and information.
Also, if you've missed the event in California, one has another opportunity to see it at their local movie theaters, too through Fathom Events.
