'The Walking Dead' 2013: Will Lori's ghost guide the group or is Rick losing it?

“The Walking Dead” returns with a new episode Sunday night called, “Home.” According to the TV Fanatic on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, Rick’s mental confusion continues and with Daryl gone, Glenn needs to step up into a leader position for the group.

As last week’s episode closed, Rick was seeing his dead wife Lori dressed in a white flowing wedding gown and just standing and staring at him on the walkway above the prison floor. Rick scared the group as he yelled at Lori, but since he was the only one that appears to see Lori, the other’s think he is losing his mind. Is he?

Did Lori come back to warn him, Rick was just about to say yes to the prison’s latest visitors who wanted to join the group. They aren’t the good guys they appear to be, as two of the men were plotting to wipe out Carol and Carl and take their weapons just minutes before Rick was asked if they could stay.

Was Lori’s presence a warning and will she show up when the group is about to make a wrong turn or bad decision? With Daryl gone, the group’s firepower is greatly diminished and the group is not as strong as they were with Daryl in the mix.

Rick takes off this week to find an old friend, according to the Comcast guide. Daryl and Merle are having second thoughts about going off on their own. Daryl has to make his way back to the group, despite him being one quiet guy, he was a major character on “The Walking Dead” and viewers liked watching his transformation into a good guy and a beloved member of this new world’s family.

While the zombies seemed to have taken a back seat to the dangers that humans are posing in the last episode, they are still drifting into the picture every now and then. This is so viewers don’t forget there’s more than the fighting with Woodbury’s group to contend with.

Andrea seems to have stepped up into a leader’s role with the Governor acting wacky after losing his zombie daughter. He also lost an eye, but it didn’t seem to slow him down a bit. She is so smitten with the Governor, Andrea can’t see the evil in this man and the evil he puts upon others. Andrea has made bad choices throughout “The Walking Dead” series and just when you thought she’s becoming strong and independent, she latches on to the Governor.

Lori was such a vital part of “The Walking Dead” show, so it stands to reason the writers have brought her back as a ghost. In a world where zombies are walking the earth, it can’t be too much of a stretch to have Lori back as a modern-day guardian angel, guiding the group from her spiritual world. Will she be a frequent visitor from beyond on "The Walking Dead?"
