Many past contestants from NBC's "The Voice" returned to the show during Tuesday night's episode. Among the highlights, winners Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery hit the stage and performed new songs.
The main reason for Tuesday's episode of "The Voice" was to see which current contestants would make it to next week's finale. While that was going on, former contestants were the ones who stole the spotlight, performing on the show where it all began.
Cassadee Pope won "The Voice" during season three. She was on Blake Shelton's team, hoping to jump start her solo career after taking a break from pop-rock band Hey Monday. Pope has revisited the show in the past to perform her single "Wasting All These Tears" and tonight she hit the stage once again with a new song from her album. The country-pop artist performed her song "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart." She rocked the house in a sparkling dress and the crowd in the studio went wild.
Current champion and season four darling Danielle Bradbery also returned to show with her song "Never Like This." The former Team Blake member slowed things down a bit with performance. Once the chorus hit, Bradbery's voice soared like it did during her best moments on the show as a contestant. It was a simple live show packed with power and emotion (video here).
Show favorites The Swon Brothers and Michelle Chamuel hit the stage as well with new singles. It was a homecoming for many past contestants on "The Voice."
*SPOILER ALERT*: After all the performances, host Carson Daly revealed that Jacquie Lee, Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin will move onto to next week's finale.
Cassadee Pope's debut album "Frame By Frame" and Danielle Bradbery's self-titled album are now available.
