"The Voice" USA 2013 is now down to the final five contenders. These talents, including James Wolpert, Jacquie Lee, Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin, and Cole Vosbury, are fighting to the near finish of the TV talent show for this season.
On Dec. 9, all of the top five did a bang up job while trying to charm viewers to vote in the direction of the person singing and all of the songs done solo on Monday now appear on iTunes for all to hear and to download.
That said, beyond the songs that were sung, including a highly applauded version of Simon and Garfunkel’s huge hit called "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" by Adam Levine's protege, Tessanne Chin, all of the semifinalists came together to sing the American Authors anthem, "Best Day of My Life."
Chin was given the money spot as the last performer of the evening for "The Voice" 2013 semifinals while James Wolpert launched the competition part of the show with his take on "With or Without You." The U2 tune was chosen by Adam who is a huge fan of this anthem from the musical lads who hail from Ireland.
Meanwhile, Will Champlin took on "Carry On" by Fun and Jacquie Lee took on "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan.
As for Cole Vosbury? He covered the Billy Joel song Garth Brooks made famous called "Shameless."
And so, at the end of the evening, all five of these top talents had a chance to work their chops while wooing votes to help carry each contender through to the finals of this challenging TV talent show.
That said, who will be voted off "The Voice" USA 2013 this week during the semifinals of the hit NBC reality program? Who will be on his or her way on the evening of Dec. 10? Who knows? The answer will be disclosed this evening so do stay tuned.
