Lucca caught the attention of all four judges on “The Voice” when he performed his cover of Ray LaMontagne’s “Trouble” during the audition round. His performance of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” found him in the number 1 spot on iTunes Rock Singles chart. Other performances on the show landed in the top 5 as well.

The “Mickey Mouse Club” alum has experienced a lot of independent success when he sold his first two albums, So Satisfied (1997) and Strong Words, Softly Spoken (1999) through his personal website. It wasn’t until 2004 that his first commercially distributed album, Shotgun, appeared which was followed by Canyon Songs (2006, Rock Ridge Music), Come Around Again (2008), Rendezvous With The Angels (2010), and Lucca’s latest release Under The Influence (2011). Under The Influence is a 10-song compilation of music by artists that inspired Lucca in his career.
