Tessanne Chin sang on “The Voice” float entered in the Rose Bowl Parade 2014. The winner of the reality singing competition actually found herself the center of attention as the float slowly moved down Colorado Boulevard on Wednesday.
According to Yahoo News on Thursday, the float had a few malfunctions, but it wasn’t anything major. While the fans were delighted to see the reality show being part of the national event, the show also broke a few records.
Apparently “The Voice” float used 30,000 carnations to cover it. If that sounds like a lot, you are right. The show posted that their float contained the most carnations ever used on a Rose Parade float.
Another first? When cameras panned to show the fans along the street, everyone noticed those red gloves. Giving the peace sign, fans came together to show a first ever moment. Never before has red gloves been given to the audience in such high quantity.
One of the most talked about floats at the Rose Bowl Parade, “The Voice” brought a lot of hype to the upcoming season. The coaches take their seats in a few weeks to once again find talent for the fans to hear. Fear not, Tessanne Chin is loving the spotlight as she is “The Voice” current winner.
