Tonight (April 29, 2014 at 8 p.m on NBC) the Top 10 will face the voters/downloaders again to find out stays and who goes on “The Voice.” Last night’s live performance show featured a couple of highlights and a lot of ho-hum so there could be a number of singers in trouble going into tonight’s results.

Christina Grimmie owned last night. Her amazing cover of Drake's “Hold On, We’re Going Home” blew away her coach Adam Levine and showed off her incredible vocal range. She had a very good performance last week and used last night to set herself apart from the pack. She is the clear frontrunner now and she was this week’s only singer to break into the iTunes Top 10 (peaking at #4). With the bonus votes for being in the iTunes Top 10, it is safe to say that Christina will be moving on this week.

The next best performer on the iTunes charts was Kristin Merlin with her version of “Let Her Go.” She peaked at #16 and was the only contestant other than Christina to make it into the Top 20. After her technical issues in the first week and a solid performance this week, Kristin is starting to build a fan base and should be safe.

After that we start to see the singers bunching up. Kat Perkins, Josh Kaufman, Jake Worthington and Audra McLaughlin all ranged on the charts from #29 to #37. All seem to be picking up fans so I would be shocked to see any of them go.

This leaves Sisaundra Lewis, Delvin Choice, Bria Kelly, and Tess Boyer to round out the bottom four. Tess and Bria performed the worst on the iTunes charts. Bria had a rough night. Her performance was all over the place and Tess was just…well…kind of boring and nothing special. I predict they will be in the bottom three. Who will join them? I think this week it will be Delvin Choice. Nobody knows how the performers did in terms of online and call in votes, but I just have a feeling he might be in trouble. There are also mixed emotions out there about Kat Perkins. Some love her (as seen by her Top 30 iTunes ranking), but others don’t like her. Perhaps we will be shocked and find someone like her or Audra in the bottom three.

No matter who joins the bottom three, I think the writing is on the wall and this week Tess Boyer and Bria Kelly will be eliminated. This is just my prediction. Tune in tonight to watch “The Voice” live results show and find out who is sent home and who makes it into the Top 8.
