"The Voice" has just wrapped season five on NBC, but work on season six has already begun. Shakira and Usher are back for more on this series. On Friday, Dec. 20, Ace Showbiz shared the first preview for the upcoming season. The video shows Shakira, Usher, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton as they pick their teams. Production has already started on season six. The video shows some of the fun banter between the judges as they try to talk singers into picking them as their judge for the season.
Shakira and Usher first joined "The Voice" for season four, and they will alternate seasons with Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have appeared on every season of the reality series so far.
Shakira will have a busy 2014. According to Billboard, the singer is ready to release a new single. A new album will also drop in early 2014. She filmed a video for the first single earlier this month. A title for the single and album have not been released.
Shakira did reveal that the first single is dedicated to her new partner and father of her child, Gerard Piqué. A duet with Rihanna is also rumored to be on the new album.
"The Voice" will return to NBC on Feb. 24.
