'The Voice' finalist Jacquie Lee wants to work with Ed Sheeran for debut album

Jacquie Lee has high hopes for her debut album. As reported by Wetpaint Entertainment on Friday, Feb. 7, the runner-up on season five of "The Voice" wants to work with a major singer/songwriter known for his touching music.

“Ed Sheeran, for sure! Fingers crossed. I’m a big Ed Sheeran fan!” she replied when asked by the website about artists she wants to collaborate with for her debut album.

As for the type of album she wants to make, she said that she definitely wants to do R&B/soul music that's "really current." Jacquie has already worked with Ed a bit as he was a mentor for Christina Aguilera's team on "The Voice." Since leaving the show, she has just been "working on [her] music and trying to use [her] momentum in a positive way."

Besides a possible debut alum, fans can look forward to live performances. She teased that people will be able to see her perform live in the summer.

Jacquie has definitely been busy writing and composing her own music, showing that she's not just a pretty voice.

"Finally .. Making progress at the keyboard after hours of suffering from writers block #success," she tweeted Saturday, Feb. 8.
