"The Voice" fall 2013 comes to a close Dec. 17 on NBC as one of the top three finalists is crowned the season five winner. With just a single critical two-hour results show pending, several celebrities took to Twitter following the Dec. 16 live broadcast to show support for their favorite hopefuls.
A number of notable names took up the torch for Jamaica's Tessanne Chin, whose Dec. 16 rendition of Whitney Houston's iconic "I Have Nothing" shot to the top of the iTunes top 400 singles chart. Included among the masses was Neil Patrick Harris, who tweeted "I don’t watch The Voice, as it’s opposite HIMYM. But @AdamLevine asked me for you to vote for @tessannechin. And I mean, come on. #TeamAdam."
Also campaigning on Chin's behalf were former "Will and Grace" star Debra Messing, who tweeted "SOBBING listening to Tessanne Chin sing Whitney Houston's " I Have Nothing" Oh. My. God. Downloading ASAP #VoiceFinale," and "Once Upon a Time" actor Jared Gilmore, who wrote "Someone had asked who my favorite was on the Voice. It @Tessanne she's great, has a beautiful voice."
Other stars stood in Will Champlin's corner. Included among the ranks were country music duo Steel Magnolia, "The X Factor" USA 2013 finalist Jeff Gutt, and "The Bachelor" 2014 Juan Pablo Galavis, who tweeted "HEY please VOTE for my friend @willchamplin from THE VOICE by DOWNLOADING "Everything I Do" in iTunes: http://bit.ly/Ju16Qn"
Finally, another camp of celebs threw their support behind Jacquie Lee of Team Christina Aguilera. Included were Jennifer Hudson, who tweeted "I know who I’m voting for! @jacquieleemusic killed it on the #VoiceFinale. #TeamXtina" after the talented teen covered her hit "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going," "Jersey Shore" star Deena Cortese, and finale guest performer Lady Gaga.
Although all three finalists have earned the support of voters throughout the season, the winning edge likely belongs to Chin. She's scored two number one hits in a row in Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "I Have Nothing," and she has her entire home nation of Jamaica behind her entering the grand finale.
