"The Voice" 2013 resumed Dec. 2 on NBC as the top six finalists hit the stage twice to perform live for America's votes. Although several of the contestants turned in well-received renditions of well-known songs, none of them earned the oft-elusive iTunes vote multiplier for the week, according to the iTunes top 200 singles chart as of 8 AM Pacific time on Dec. 3, but all of them finished the voting period within the top 50.
Coming closest to the valuable five times vote multiplier was Team Adam Levine's Tessanne Chin, whose heartfelt version of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" finished 15th. Chin's other offering, a cover of Katy Perry's "Unconditionally" that she sang in honor of her parents, notched 33rd.
Cole Vosbury of Team Blake Shelton was next-closest to scoring the download multiplier with his take on the Hall and Oates number one smash "Rich Girl," which finished the voting period in 16th place. He also performed James Morrison's "Better Man" for his ex-girlfriend, and that performance earned him the 23rd spot on the chart.
The third-best placement belonged to teen Jacquie Lee, who earned number 20 for her version of Janis Joplin's "Cry Baby." Lee's second offering, her coach Christina Aguilera's tune "The Voice Within," finished in the 46-spot.
Team Adam's Will Champlin, who scored the only iTunes multiplier given out on Nov. 26 with Etta James' "At Last," saw his two performances land almost back-to-back in the standings. "A Change is Gonna Come" ranked 25th, while "Hey Brother" scored number 27.
The final member of Team Adam, indie rocker James Wolpert, still finished reasonably well despite performing while ill. His close-closing take on Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" notched 34th place, while his version of "Fell in Love With a Girl" took 48th.
Finally, Matthew Schuler's rendition of "When a Man Loves a Woman" scored 39th place, while his take on One Direction's new hit "Story of My Life" finished 45th. Schuler sings as part of Team Christina.
