The Virginia Film Festival to host Oscar Experience party at Paramount Theater

The Virginia Film Festival (VFF) is hosting an Oscar Experience party at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, VA this Sunday, February 24, 2013. The event, one of 45 sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will be benefiting the VFF's 2013 Community and Outreach Program.

The event will begin at 7pm and guests will be able to walk the red carpet, get their pictures taken by paparazzi, get a taste of Hollywood cuisine served by the local and well known Glass Haus Kitchen, and enjoy some wine from Charlottesville's local vineyards. Also, there will be a silent auction featuring some very great prizes along with trivia games between commercial breaks.

The 85th annual Academy Awards will begin at 8:30pm ET and guests will get the best seats in the house as they watch the awards show live on the largest high definition screen in Virginia. Oscar-inspired attire is highly encouraged!

General admission tickets are $45 and $100 for the VIP Experience. Interested in going? Tickets are still available for purchase at the VFF website or if you call (434) 924-3376.
