Wine lovers will be able to savor the taste of several of the world's best at the 23rd annual Cincinnati International Wine Festival at the Duke Energy Convention Center with the Grand Tastings on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. It is approximately a 4 hour drive from Cleveland to Cincinnati.
Cincinnati International Wine Festival Featuring more than 700 wines from over 100 wineries, the focus of the Grand Tastings at the 2013 event will be on new, rare wines from around the world that visitors will be able to sample. The event also includes live music, food and a silent auction.
Guests will also get the opportunity to visit a Special Tasting Room one hour prior to the Grand Tastings where they can sample 7 high-end wines for an additional $40 advance purchase and $45 at the door. Hours for the Special Tasting Room are 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 1:30 p.m - 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 and 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.
Hours for the actual Grand Tastings are 6:30 p.m - 9 p.m. on Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and 6:30 - 9 p.m. on Saturday evening.
Cost for the Grand Tasting on Friday is $70 prior to the event and $75 at the door. A combined ticket for both the Grand Tastings and the Special Tasting Room is $110 prior to the Festival and $120 at the door. Cost for Saturday afternoon in advance is $60 and $65 at the door with a combined ticket costing $100 prior and $110 at the door.
Cost for Saturday evening is $70 in advance and $75 at the Festival with an advanced combined ticket costing $110 and $120 at the door.
You must be 21 to attend the Cincinnati International Wine Festival.

The Duke Energy Convention Center is located at 525 Elm Street in downtown Cincinnati. The Festival will be held in the Grand Ballrooms on the Convention Center's 3rd floor. It is approximately a 4 hour drive from Cleveland to Cincinnati, straight down I-71.
