"The View" may be getting a ratings bump in early March, as "Twilight" fans around the country are getting ready to set their DVRs. Robert Pattinson -- otherwise known as Edward Cullen in the movie franchise -- will be making his first appearance on the talk program on March 2. He won't be there to promote "Eclipse," though; his new movie, "Remember Me," will be hitting theaters ten days later.

Pattinson of course went through the talk show circuit last fall, appearing on a number of shows including "The Late Show With David Letterman" in preparation for the "New Moon" release. There's no word yet on what Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, and the others will ask -- but we can all assume that a certain question about Kristen Stewart will enter the mix.

As "The View" crowd is made up of largely women, this appearance will likely be a good move for the "Remember Me" target audience. The film is a romantic drama, and it also stars Pierce Brosnan and "Lost" actress Emile de Ravin.

I will be at work but I plan to DVR the show. I never watch the View but since Robert is on there I plan to tape it.
