The View ladies call Kate Gosselin on the phone

Hot on the heels of her appearance on the Today show, the gals at The View got Kate Gosselin on the phone to talk to her further about the allegation that Jon Gosselin withdrew $230,000 from their joint bank account without Kate's consent.

Kate pretty much rehashed the points she made on Today, that Jon left her with a little over a thousand dollars, she can't pay the bills, and that she's in the same position she was in when the sextuplets were first born and they were broke.

Of course Jon intimates that Kate is "crying poor" when she really has money stashed away.

Kate also said she hopes the show goes on for financial reasons -- you know, because having her life filmed is her "job" (although not the kids' "job," they're just "playing") -- and she thinks that the show provides opportunities for her kids. But Kate said if it doesn't, she'll do anything, "even work at McDonald's," to provide for her kids. Only in a just world would we find Kate slinging Big Macs, but it's probably not in her future.

Guest co-host Lisa Ling couldn't hide her disdain for Kate keeping their children on TV during the divorce. She said her own parents had a "nasty divorce" when she was 7 years old and she "couldn't imagine any of it being on television." When Kate said removing them from the show "takes away their opportunities," Ling said, "There have got to be other ways to make money besides putting your kids on television, come on."

Jon & Kate Gosselin's life has developed into such a he says, she says...but what does God say? jonandkateprayers dot com

Jon says he let Kate do the bills, etc. Same as most men do. If that is so, how come Jon says he knows there is more money than there is?

Jon without a brain has been the one to have caused harm to the children. His outrageous behaviour shows that he could care less for the kids. He would not have been on the front page of tabloids and such, if he were not mentally challenged & acting like a 13 years old delinquent in heat.

Well this article was pretty much a one-sided piece of work.

Here's a thought: Take this sham of a "reality" show off the air. Sell the mansion. Kids don't need mansions to be happy. Kate: quit the spa treatments, designer clothes and traveling first class and stay home and BE a mom. Jon: get a real job. Enough is Enough!

Kids don't need mansions, but how big should a house for a family of 10 (now 9) be? There are 5 of us in a 2500 sf home and we could use more room - now double it!

Next time, be professional and have ethic before writing a one sided piece of crap article.

Wow, Jessica, you're quite a bitch. Of course, you would have to be to work for TMZ. I saw the email from the bank to Kate on Radaronline and her allegations appear to be true. The kids are being justly compensated. Kate, luckily, secured 80% of the earnings away in trusts for the kids or that would probably be gone, too. I think Jon is my ex's long lost son. He's 23 years older than Jon and very similiar except 100 times worse.
