The season finale of "The Vampire Diaries" was shocking and one thing that was revealed is that Tyler seemed to be human again. So what is the deal with him? On May 17, Hollywood Hills posted information about what to expect from Tyler in "The Vampire Diaries" season 6.
Executive producer Julie Plec told TV Line that Tyler isn't a hybrid or werewolf anymore. He has returned to his human form. However, there is a twist to his storyline. Even though he is human again, he still has the werewolf gene. This means if he killed someone again, the curse would take effect. Tyler would have to go through the process of transitioning all over again.
It was also said that Tyler is going to have to work hard to keep his temper in check. The werewolf gene causes him to become physically frustrated. He is going to have to find an outlet for that.
However, not everyone has returned to their human form. Plec said that Alaric is still a vampire and he will struggle with what he has become. It will be interesting to see how he lives with being a vampire.
Other spoilers for "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 include Damon and Bonnie returning in some form, which is exciting news for fans. Matt will possibly be getting a love interest and there will be no more doppelgangers. When asked how they decided who would return and who wouldn't, it was said that certain characters found peace. Aunt Jenna is one who found peace and Plec said that she believes Grams did too.
What do you think is going to happen on season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries?" How will Tyler deal with being human again? Do you think he will struggle with it and will he be able to keep his temper in check?
