"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 continues next week with episode 6, "Handle With Care," and on Friday, Nov. 1, the CW released a short sneak peek teasing Silas (Paul Wesley) possibly holding up his end of the bargain—but with one condition.
As the latest "Vampire Diaries" episode, "Monster's Ball," showed, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decided to deal with the devil and get Silas to agree to bring Bonnie (Kat Graham) back now that everyone knows she's dead. After feeding Katherine (Nina Dobrev) to Silas, Elena and Damon were surprised when the human's heart was still beating. But they have more important things to focus on at the moment—like bringing their friend back from the dead.
The "Handle With Care" sneak peek is a pretty good example of just why we may actually miss Silas when he's gone. As the group sets out, he reveals that he doesn't want Elena to join them as he shows that he actually doesn't seem to care about any of their names. "Men only," he declares before explaining, "She's a freaky carbon copy of my one true love, Amara. You can understand why I don't want to stare at her imposter face all day." When Damon argues that doesn't make any sense, Silas adds, "It would make complete sense if you were ever in love with anybody who looked exactly like her." Even as Damon is left to ponder that, Elena insists she's going. But considering they need Silas for this, will he get his way or will he just have to agree to let Elena come? "The Vampire Diaries" season 5 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. What do you think of this episode 6 "Handle With Care" clip?
