On Jan. 31, The CW released a new sneak peek preview and a set of promotional photos for "The Vampire Diaries" season 4, episode 13 "Into the Wild." Spoiler alert – turn away now if you don’t want to see what’s coming up on the show.
The preview (seen below) shows that the Mystic Falls group has traveled to a remote island in search of the cure. Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, Rebekah, Damon, Elena and Shane have all made the trek, and as you can imagine, there will lots of tension between them all!
As the walk through the woods, Elena asks if anyone else is "creeped out." Shane warns, "This place uses its own kind of magic," just before setting off a trap buried under some brush. The preview also shows a man jumping out at Jeremy. They are going to have to be careful!
The end of the preview finds Damon threatening Shane. He tells Shane, "I'm done trusting you. Where's the cure?" Will the group be successful in their search?
The synopsis for this episode reads:
MYSTERIOUS ISLAND — Shane leads an expedition to a desolate island off the coast of Nova Scotia, where he believes the secret of the cure lies hidden. On the trek to the island’s interior, Rebekah and Elena continue their bitter rivalry, Stefan does his best to keep the peace, and Damon accuses Shane of leading them into a trap. Bonnie and Jeremy try to figure out the message of the Hunter’s mark, while Shane reveals more of the legend of Silas and the witch Qetsiyah, along with his own personal history. Back in Mystic Falls, Tyler confronts Klaus, and Caroline is caught up in the violence that follows.
It’s going to be an exciting episode that you won’t want to miss, so be sure to tune in Thursday at 8 p.m. to West Palm Beach Comcast channel 4 (The CW) to see "The Vampire Diaries" season 4, episode 13, "Into the Wild."
